Our Code of Conduct

Our code of conduct is relatively simple; we will help your child as much as we can to the best of our ability. We cannot, however, provide any guarantees that your child will meet the goals we set for them - at the end of the day, it's down to them.

If for any reason a session needs to be cancelled - except in cases of illness - we will give three days notice. We would ask to extend the same courtesy to us. For this, a full refund will be returned (if paid in advance) if:

a) the tutor has cancelled - even at the last minute

b) if you have cancelled and provided three days notice

c) if your child has a severe and debilitating illness that is only stated at the last minute (if this occurs more than one week in a row a tutor may ask to see a doctors note, simply due to travel costs).

If a session is cancelled particularly short notice the tutor may apply a small charge either for the cost spent travelling or time spent planning a lesson which then could not take place.

At the moment, none of our tutors are fully CRB checked. This means you, as a parent, are relying on our word. For these reasons we completely understand if you would rather be in the house at all times during lessons. If you share no concerns we are more than happy to teach whilst you are not present but will not be held liable for any damage or injury that occurs whilst we are teaching.

We would ask that parents warn the tutor of any possible medical conditions that could affect learning.
